Monkees Announce 2013 Full Tour Dates!

This is a couple of months old but I just saw it.

I'll admit I watched the TV show in the sixties and we even had their albums along with the Archies. But I was six at the time.

Davey Jones died last year, but apparently the other three still tour solo.

But do they really expect a 24 date tour to work? I mean it's not like they're the Eagles or anything.
I wish the Archies would go on tour.

There were no Archies. They were studio musicians. Never a whole group. They only had one song!

One song? Sugar Sugar went to #1 on the pop charts in 1969, sold over six million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. In Billboard's Hot 100, it was ranked as the number one song of that year, But let's not forget about classics like ""Who's Your Baby?" (U.S. #40), "Bang-Shang-A-Lang" (U.S. #22), and "Jingle Jangle" (U.S. #10). "Jingle Jangle" also sold over a million copies, garnering a second gold disc award"

As opposed to the Monkeys that were a garage band that grew up together.

Google "prefab four".

I'm so freaking old and lame, I liked them.

Let's just call all that shit a guilty pleasure. A dirty secret.
