Moody service at Grandy's

I go to Grandy's for breakfast about once a month for the past 20 plus years and the service is good, the servers over the years for some reason have been very moody. I have been servered with different servers over the years and I'm not a big fan of tattoos, the only person that was not moody was a female girl about 25, very friendly with a lot of tattoos. That's about 1 out of about 50 employyees over the years. I don't know if it's the job or the time I get there. I'm there from 7:00 am to 8:00. Maybe it's time to move on and give up going to Grandy's. Every where else, very friendly service.

Food must be good despite the service since you keep going back.

No, Grandys is about 20 miles from the downtown. There are about maybe 100 places I could go, I guess. Only about a dozen or so will open up before 8:00, and the foods great. I can go at a later time, but I get up at 6:00 and want to get something to eat early before the large crowds on the weekends. My wife is not a breakfast person and she's sleeps in late on the weekends, so I go alone.

You need to find those local greasy spoons that open around 5am that all the construction workers eat at.

Simple matter of supply and demand (you get what you pay for). The best workers go where the wages, working conditions, etc. are best. No one wants to do more for less.
