More food coupie reviews

San Gennaro Grill at Venetian: cheddar cheese omelet was bland and overpriced.

The Cantina at Tuscany Suites: OMG whenever I visit TS, I really enjoy the decor of the public areas. The food at The Cantina was tasty and tastefully presented. Good value if you're passing by TS. But the tables/seating was plain (if you're there when it isn't crowded, you'll get a nice table).

ACG Binion's burger: still a good value at BOGO, and it seems they let you use as many coupons as you can obtain.

Burger Brasserie at Bally's/Paris: ate there 3 times in one week, so burgers are good. But the service at the bar was poor, esp. gave me a medium burger when I ordered well done.

Buffet at Flamingo: this seems to be continuing to go downhill. Racing to the bottom with IP, maybe?

Quesadilla at IP: it's a good value with the BOGO from ACG, but don't expect too much. Friendly service.
Some people just know how to live it up in Vegas.
best coupon ever! Simon restaurant at palms place. Unlimited Champagne and bloody mary bar with purchase of a Sunday Brunch buffet. AND it's good for up to a party of 4.

the 3 of us in my party saved $54 on that one.

And Kerry Simon walked in while we were brunching

and the brunch was awesome, and most of the dishes were of the they bring it to the table sort rather than the stand in line with a plate sort.

My wife is still a little mad a Kerry for not wishing us a happy Thanksgiving last year because he was too busy talking to Vince Neil at the adjacent table. The food was very good, though.

I've used a few this week ....

- Marilyns Cafe at Tuscany...MRB coupon is good on everything including specials. $6.99 steak and eggs fell down to $3.50.. Nice atmosphere and really good food.

- Garduno's Margarita Brunch. 50% off at Palms. I used to be a big fan of this brunch but not anymore. The selecction is just too limited. Made to order omlets are nice...and some good SW dishes..but less than 10 total items on the bufffet. Margaritas are made with cheap mix. No more flan on the dessert bar.

- Ellis Island. Seems like the service has improved and the quality of the food has worsened. I liked it better the other way around. I got the Ham Steak and Eggs. Ham Steak is huge but greasy. Breakfast Potatoes are the processed ones you get at the frozen food aisle in your store. Gotta love the egg nog though.

- Nathans Famous Hot Dogs. Cant walk by one of these without using the coupon. Always a good snack.

he didn't go from table to table or anything. One of my friends just happened to be up getting desert when he walked in and spoke to him briefly. He went to one table full of douchebags and chicks who hang out with douchebags. I think there may have been a birthday. One girl asks him "what did you say your name was" no, I am not kidding. And it's on his chef coat, ffs.

Karen, what kind of bubbles flow at Simon?
honestly I have no idea. My palate is rather unrefined. I am more the "oh, looky, bubbles!" bubbly drinker And they bring it out by the glass rather than carry the bottle around for refills

I stayed at Palms Place two years ago. Vince Neil pulled up and parked his red Ferrari. He was waiting in the lobby for someone. He had lost a lot of weight since when I saw him on American Casino. He didn't look like he wanted to talk, so I didn't approach him.

I ate at BB for the first time last fall. The burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had.

I was with a friend and we had a very good waitress.

In regards to ordering meat well done (especially beef) some chefs feel it should almost be a felony to overcook beef. Be careful if you send it back to have it done further. My parents used to have a friend who was a partner in a nice restaurant. He would order his meat well done. If it wasn't up to his standards, he would tell the waitress to not bring anything back, because he knew what chefs would do sometimes.
