There's fraud in every financial field. For food stamps, it amounts to about one cent on every dollar.

In FY 2012, over 100 analysts and investigators reviewed over 15,000 stores and conducted nearly 4,500 undercover investigations. Close to 1,400 stores were permanently disqualified for trafficking and nearly 700 stores were sanctioned for other violations such as the sale of ineligible items.

In fiscal year 2011, States completed nearly 798,000 fraud investigations, resulting in over 46,000 disqualified individuals and collection of over $72 million in fraud.

You know what? It doesn't matter two shits who or why the debt ceiling has been raised ,the simple fact remains the country CANNOT simply keep raising it jsut just because. If it makes anyone feel better or superior to call me a whiner, fine a I don't care, I'll throw a F'n tempertantrum if it really makes someone gfeel better.

The simple fact remains, the US is 17T and counting in debt right now with not much of a plan to do much about it, jsut keep raising and spend with no cuts. All this 10-15 years down the road bullshit is just that. They can predict whatever in the hell they want and it doesn't mean squat, thing's change too rapidly to predict accurately how spending is going to be after the next election and then the next one(presidency) after that and so on.

You want a solution? Sure..here ya go, immediate freeze on all any automatic increaes(except SS, that should'nt be F'd with at all IMO, so I'll quit at that) for all Fed. depts top to baottom. A reduction implementation on any and all "expense" spending(ie, discretionary funds), starting with 1% cuts and go from there. An immedite suspension of all foreign aid save any food/humanitarian aid. A further reduction in the defense budget and I don't mean cutting soldiers pay, as a matter of fact they should be paid more, let's just say a cut and redirection of the defense budget. I don't even wanna say less guns and more butter, less of both.

I know it's my simplistic back of the envelope economics but for this whiner anything close to it would make me happy. And yea, we cross 18 and 19 with no cuts, the whining will definitely escalte to a full blown F'n tantrum!
