More Punishment to come for the Saints?

Looks like some punishment may come to some of the players as well.

Story here:
Goodell: Players embraced bounties.
Now there are stories that the GM was wired for sound to listen to the opponents during games
Last week I was in New Orleans on vacation, and stopped by one of those Kiosk's that sold tours etc.
And the gentleman asked me what I had already seen and what I would like to see, then he asked me
where I was from, I said MN, " OH " he said, " You see that Dome over there, why don't you guys walk
by it, but Don't look at it, keep your head down, because we kicked your Butt in the playoffs " I was so
mad at him that I just said " Lets Go " after walking away I felt as if I should have told him, at least we
didn't have to cheat to win !
Same thing out here, Lee. But we call them the USC Trojans.

Death penalty. A few too many texts, a bit of weed and a few "jobs" that don't quite materialize brings the boom down over in the NCAA. Time to park for a year a franchise that just shows dirtier and dirtier every week.

I had to laugh at this. This from a person who supports a school that has had something like 8 to 10 starters with police records. This from a person who supports a school that is under NCAA investigation right now for illegal recruiting practices.
And when the VERDICT is handed down, homer, I will pillory our guys if it is guilty. You seem to continually struggle with allegation vs. a verdict and sentencing.

Anywho, don't get yer crimson pompoms in such a wad. It's called intra-conference needling for a reason. Jesus.

So you support theft, assault, and other crimes of your players yet think that Reggie Bush's parents accepting a house from an agent is far worse?

Behavior ProblemsBy Russ Hartley(Contributor) on February 22, 2010

Before the bowl games started, we saw a flurry of arrests come out of East Lansing, Mich., where 11 Spartans football players were arrested for assault and battery charges. Now that two of those players have transferred, we see new problems arising on other teams.

The University of Oregon has experienced new arrests of their own in their football program.

If you can recall, RB LeGarrette Blount was suspended for eight games in 2009 for obvious reasons. Now the RB who took his place is also in trouble.

Freshman RB LaMichael James has been arrested for assault charges (by his girlfriend) and has recently pleaded not guilty to these accusations. We will have to keep a close eye on how this turns out, since it could be a problem for the 2010 season.

LaMichael James carried the load for the Quack Attack's rushing game and showed much promise. He joins teammate Rob Beard with assault charges.

WR Jamere Holland was recently kicked off the team for racist comments on a Facebook page, referring to the arrests of his teammates.

He wrote, "I should block friend requests from whites."

Athletic Director Mike Bellotti would not discuss the circumstances of Holland's termination but said, "I won't get into the specifics, but you're smart enough to figure it out."

Keep an eye on how these legal issues turn out for the Oregon Program at theses two sites.

homer, did they teach you to read, think and comprehend at Tommy Trojan Tech?

I'm really surprised at your values. USC got busted because Reggie Bush's stepfather and mother accepted money from an agent and bought a nicer house (not near USC). USC got their heads handed to them by the NCAA for this and for not cooperating during the investigation. On the other hand, the University of Oregon football team has a police blotter longer than a roll of toilet paper and is under investigation for recruiting violations.

Again. I ask you which is the worse crime?
Damn - I hate to say it but it looks like the Saints are bigger cheaters that the Pats. The FBI is investigating now.
