Motley Fool Question

Anybody else listen to the Motley Fool guy, Tom Conner, drone on and on about the three great stocks that will explode in the near future? He then never tells the name of the three stocks (as promised at the beginning) to be provided in 3 minutes...
Then they want you to subscribe for $199 to get the names of the stocks. Subscribers already get them, I guess.
I still can't guess which three they are.

He did say that Apple will be selling a new type TV soon that will allow streaming, Internet etc. on one device but that it will be about $1500 at first.

The three stocks are:
i. Disney (DIS)
ii. Scripps Network Interactive (SNI)
iii. Discovery Communications (DISCA)

Actually it is a recommendation from quite some time ago, . . . just reappearing in the current teaser advertisement. All 3 stocks have done very well since the initial recommendation, . . . maybe too well to buy them now.

Oh, . . . but here's a nugget of information which dfwgambler may find interesting; it's how DonDiego uncovered the 3 stocks above:
There is a website which publishes information pertaining to all the similar investment advisor advertisements, and reveals the "secret investment advise". DonDiego is not at liberty to reveal this website publicly, . . . but its name is Stock Gumshoe . Oops !
Motley Fool used to be a cool website with solid advice; now it's using snake oil sales tactics.

I'm invested in Disney and Apple and Cramer's darling, Skyworks. They've been very good to me. I'll leave out some of my other not so good investments.

When I first started investing, or learning more about it before I actually put money in, I was a big fan of MF, I read all kinds of their stuff. My mom even bought me a book by the fools. You are correct Snidely, snake oil tactics describes it nicely now. I haven't read or touched anything from MF in years, it's always the same thing, a teaser line then "subscribe to.." BS. Heck with that.
