MRB vs. ACG

I know that the MRB coupons are all perforated and are invalid if taken out of the book ahead of time. Each voucher has the disclaimer that it must be removed in the presence of a casino employee. Otherwise the voucher/coupon is void. I have never bought the ACG book but was told by a friend that the ACG book is not perforated and that each voucher/coupon must be cut from the book. However he wasn't sure if they must be removed in the presence of a casino employee. Can someone who has actually used the ACG vouchers/coupons please enlighten me. I was going to order the ACG book for my girlfriend before our next trip to Vegas, but not if it involves a lot of hassle. Thanks for your help.
The ACG coupons do not have to be removed in front of an employee, but you may have to present the ACG card (that's included in the book). Although anyone asking for the card is very rare.

There may be some places that are "confused" and will not accept loose ACG coupons. In 2009 I had difficulties at Terrible's on one shift, but not a different shift.

Although you should not have any difficulties, it is possible that one or two places could have an attitude for a myriad of reasons. If so, try a different shift.

Thanks for the info. Do you need to cut out the coupons/vouchers or do you show the whole book?

For the ACG, I just bust the binder and rip out the coupon section, (with the membership card) and just carry that part of the book. Easier and a lot lighter.

Hi,
I do what Ray mentioned above, rip the ACG apart and just carry the section with the card and Las Vegas coupons. I use scissors to cut about an inch into the coupon pages so they are really easy to tear out.

I also just take the coupon section, and HAVE been asked for the card the great majority of the times I've used a coupon.
Have purchased the ACG for several years and last year was the first time I have ever been ask for the card and it happened at the Rio. In fact the lady even had me sign the back which I have never done. In some cases I truly beleive that it is an authority factor with some employees who were pissed even before they went to work.

All these posts and not one answer.

With the ACG you can use the individual coupon cut from the book. Some places do require you to show the membership card (size of a business card) when using a coupon. The coupons have not been perforated in the past.
