MSS Gold card

Does anyone still talk about Las Vegas here?

If so, does anyone know how the Gold dining card works at Main Street Station? We will be making our first stay there in Feb.

What is the MSS Gold dining card? Never heard of it.

The gold card is given to you by a host, based on your play over your last 3 trips. It covers your food and beverage at all outlets at MSS, the Cal, and the Fremont, including "fine dining" places. (The silver card does not include fine dining.)

We had a gold card for several years back when we stayed at MSS regularly. It was good for 4 days. We stayed longer than that, so they would renew it for the rest of our trip.

We have no MSS host - with the exception of using the host on duty for food comps when we are there.

We received a mail offer for "Complimentary 4 night stay and FREE MEALS." When I called to book it, I asked what FREE MEALS meant. I was told we would be given a gold card for food.

So who knows? Perhaps the reservationist did not know if we actually qualified when she told me we would be given a gold card upon checkin.

We will not set our expectations too high. From what I have read here, I doubt we have given them enough action to warrant a gold card. Maybe we can figure it all out after our first stay.

I have a Gold card no matter what Boyd casino I stay at. But the best is at Sam's Town at Billy Bob's Steakhouse!

Yep, as you MSS vet's suspected -- we were given "Aloha" booklets upon arrival for our first stay at MSS. When we saw that the booklets included more food than we could ever consume during our stay, we decided to not pursue a host about the reservationist telling me we would have a gold card.

AND... we can't complain -- the video poker at MSS was so "berry, berry" good to us! Received 80 scratch-offs during our 3-night stay. VP Heaven indeed.
