Perhaps that explains MoneyLA's (incorrect) assumption that those of us who play our freeplay and then also continue to gamble at that casino ALWAYS walk away with a loss.

BTW - What with these concerns about your bladder function , maybe you and Money should consider investing some of your combined wealth in Kimberly-Clark stock (maker of Depends)?
Everyone pee's, everyone poops... I could have said order a drink, but thats not as drama full as everything else...

First, please excuse slapinfunk... His previous posts prove he has most of his mother's genes and the rest came from the milkman.

jnmalone, the comp situation at various casinos varies to a great degree and it is difficult to determine what "extras" you will get. You might find a generous host, or your play might get you extra comps you did not expect. anything goes. and you should try to get anything and everything they'll give you.

Mare... every cash or freeplay offer or shopping spree offer I ever saw requires a hotel check in and stay. At least that's how I read the offers. no where did I ever read fine print that says or indicates that you can just check in, take the money, and leave.

Let me confess something about someone I know very well from Florida. She took an offer from the GN for reimbursement of round trip airfare plus $5K free play. After dumping the $5k free play plus about $10K more (in one night) she went to the Venetian where they gave her $2K free play which lasted her a couple of hours... so she called Caesars and a limo picked her up for the next night where she got cash reimbursement for the airfare (that the GN paid for-- she showed them the ticket) where she went on a $75K losing streak.

No moral to that story... I just thought it would be entertaining.

you can get some cheap hotels here in case you needed.

I think it is your businessman background that is making it hard for you to understand this issue and causing others to think you are an idiot.

A businessman will look at a deal between two parties as a contract that is to be honored by both parties. A casino customer without a business background is more likely to feel entitled to receive their end of the deal without having to uphold their requirements of the deal.

no. its the fact that every time he blabs on and on about taking free play and running and not putting any additional money through the machines, he is greeted with multiple replies of "I DO RUN MORE THROUGH THE MACHINE" and he keeps not comprehending this and keeps yammering on and on about running through free play and taking off and "dont blame me if you dont get future offers".

Some of us see checking-in and running your normal coin-in through the machines as 'fulfilling the terms of the contract'. Not actually sleeping in the free room is like not picking up your free gift.

Can you take a look at your offers and tell me what it says in the fine print?

I have an offer from MSS that says "Must be staying at Main Street Station to utilize any part of this offer".
I have one from The Orleans that says "Must be staying in hotel to receive dining credit".

The way I read these offers is that I have to be staying at these hotels to fulfill the terms of the contract. I suspect that offers from different properties have different wording.

On the Orleans offer it says I must stay in the hotel in order to get the free meal. It does not say I have to eat in order to get the free room, otherwise, by most standards, I guess I'd have to go to the buffet and dirty up a plate to make it look like I ate so I'd have a place to sleep afterwords.

I agree with everyone that the most important thing to the casino is that you do lots of gambling in the casino. So why the heck would they include fine print like this if they don't really mean it? But as long as they do, I'll continue to abide by it because that's just the direction my moral compass points.
Kaypea... I would hire you. thanks.
