Just curious... how much is the free play for to go from casino to casino, cab fare, walking, etc etc...

even without free play, most people tend to do things like.....go outside and venture to other casinos. the idea that its going to be a hassle to GET UP AND GO OUTSIDE is a bit much.

Yes, it's a dirt job but someone has to do it...

LOL, I hope you don't consider not actually staying in the hotel is unethical. I mean, they call it Sin City for a reason you know.

OMG. I never thought about the fact that I would have to casino hop instead of playing on the same casino floor all week.

I think if you make a deal with someone, you are bound to uphold your end of the agreement. If you don't like the terms of the agreement then don't make the deal or negotiate for better terms. Yes, I know everyone cheats on their taxes because the IRS doesn't really mean what they put in the fine print.
The only "deal" you made with the hotel is to check in, in return for which they give you the free play. Where you sleep (or not) is nobody's business but yours. By not using the room, you save them the cost of cleaning up after you, leaving new towels, etc. Hotels don't care how you use (or not use) their rooms unless you're having loud parties in there, lol.

I've seen the hotel offers sent out by Aliante. They say "free play will be available upon hotel check-in." They do NOT say you must sleep/shower/whatever in the room.
For a small fee I will sleep in the hotel room and make it look occupied.

Why do you think Aliante includes the hotel check-in as a requirement to get the offer?
Sue, and others... I understand that you think there's nothing wrong. How do you think management feels about this? Sue, did you ever ask your management? Anyone else ask their host or a manager they know? Im asking for you to put aside your personal feelings here and report on what you find out about "management's opinion" on this. Thanks

did YOU ever ask management how they feel when a customer walks into a casino, blows thousands through their machines but dares to sleep elsewhere?
