Muliple Free Play offers that demand hotel stay

Some of you are taking this so personal its like you own a casino. I'm pretty sure that the casinos are going to "get theirs", you likely don't need to argue on their behalf in a forum.

What has changed here? If you get an offer for a free room/free play and then check-in and use the offer and DON'T play at all (or enough) I'm pretty sure the casino will suspend future offers.

Does anybody here think the casinos need vigilante protection in the LVA Forum to ensure they aren't being taken advantage of?

No, the casinos dont need protection. But Im just trying to protect Sue Casey's job at a casino. All that revenue lost to free play, and unused rooms with phantom guests who dont go to restaurants, gift shops, etc, could mean her job gets cut. I would hate to see that happen. I want to protect Sue's job.
That has got to be the most moronic statement you've ever made on here. Time to hit the "ignore" button, I guess.

FYI, people who check in and do not sleep in the room still gamble there AND eat there. Gambling makes people hungry.
Still Sue, I want you to keep your job. I really do. I want you to walk into Lori Nelson's office, or call her, and ask her how your management feels about players checking in to your hotels, grabbing the free offers, but staying somewhere else... or double dipping, tripple dipping, or whatever else you want to call it. Go ahead.

Dude, You are just some random guy in a forum and you think you can tell Sue what to do? WTF are you thinking by telling her "I want you to walk into Lori Nelson's office, etc."

Do you follow instructions from random folks in forums? If you do then I want you to go to Bill's Gambling Hall and do 20 Jumping Jacks and then hand a $20 to Big Elvis.

I think Sue was wrong. Your most moronic post just happened.

No RizzoJr, what is moronic is that Sue could not respond to my question on the previous page which was this:

Sue, and others... I understand that you think there's nothing wrong. How do you think management feels about this? Sue, did you ever ask your management? Anyone else ask their host or a manager they know? Im asking for you to put aside your personal feelings here and report on what you find out about "management's opinion" on this. Thanks

So, again, what do you think management's view is about this? You can have whatever opinion you want -- Im not going to debate it. I just asked what do you think management's opinion is? And so far NO ONE has offered anything about how management might feel?

So, lets try it again RizzoJR, and you might also ask someone you know... a host, a manager... what is their opinion of this practice??

Don't want to? Okay. Then don't and just say you wont. Im looking for someone who has spoken to a manager and can tell us how management feels. And if youre a manager, please give us your opinion on this.

So, what's moronic now?

Thanks, RizzoJr. I've already given my opinion on this subject, which is that management doesn't give a shit what the guests do, as long as they gamble and spend money while they're checked into their room. BTW, I don't know Lori Nelson or any of the other top management personally. They're at corporate headquarters, and I've never been there.

Get your wrinkled old ass over to corporate HQ and demand to speak with Lori Nelson. This is an urgent matter.
Understand that I'm a low roller that does not receive the offers being discussed here. Secondly, I'm not some sort of moralist. That being said, I'm sure that these offers are certaintly part of a casino';s marketing budget and therefore cost money at some point down the line. The fact is that if the receiver doesn't play, the casino has a theo loss on that offer. I also realize that a lot of members have daid these offers are based on past play, but I've never heard anyone talk about receiving 2 comped night and $100 in free play based on past play. We all know the casino exspects some play from you. I guess it's a little like years ago when I was in line at a fast food joint. A kid infront of me grabbed a handfull of straws and stuck them in his back pocket. I pulled them out and put them back. He asked what the f**k I was doing.
i told the punk that everything he and the opther little jerks like him stoled from the place was going to increase MY prices. I think this is similar. If you take the offer w/freeplay and skate, the casino doesn't get what they bargained for. Before anyone says anything, I know you have to have a healthy history of play to get the offer, but once again, I don't think any of these offers pronounce, "Based on your previous play, please have a couple of free nights and some free play. I think we all know they hope you will play. I just think that the more of these offers that are not used as intended just add to the whole problem.

I'll just sit back now and wait ti be lambasted. Thanks for listening.

Good Luck!

Ric, I have double-booked many times over the years before I moved to Vegas, and I always gave the casino good play on those day(s) I was checked into the hotel. They didn't know or care that I didn't sleep there. I played, and I got offers again for my next trip, so obviously the casinos were satisfied with my play.

BTW, those offers ARE based on your previous play. However, if you don't play while you're there, you won't get FUTURE offers.
