Vegas Free-for-All - Multiple downtown (and Sam's Town) questions. Please HELP!

We are flying out to the city we love Feb 16-21. Bringing my mother, who is finally done with cardiac rehab after her heart surgery in September! Staying at MSS for a couple of nights, and 4Q for the final 3. We are avid VP players, DB, DDB, and NSUD, especially progressives! I have several questions regarding a few of the downtown properties and Sam's.

We have offers from Fitz and Sam's for food and free play. Do we need to book rooms at each of those properties to get the free stuff???

Also, when I check my bconnected offers, on the Sam's Feb room offer it says "you’re invited to special VIP events! Birthday Party Feb 18-21" Does anyone know what that is??

Binions has a swipe promo going now, does anyone know when that ends?

VPfree2 says that Golden Gate has 9/6 DDB progressives at the Bar, are those RF only or 6 way including quads? Does GG have any promos going?

At the Cal, are the 10/7 DB machines with the 1,000 coin Heart RF bonus $3 per point? How about the quarter machines near the Main Street Bar?

Sam's has 10/7 DB listed, are those $2 per point earned or $1-1?
Also, Sam's used to have 9/7 DB and 9/6 DDB .25 triple play with progressive RF for each line and a HUGE prog for the dealt royal. Does anyone know if they still exist?

Someone should be along to answer your questions. However, to find the coin in per points, I'd suggest you telephone a slot host or the players club at each property for a current, up to date answer. Check the web sites for toll free numbers.

Some properties award different points/coin in for the same games at different denominations.

Vpfree is often not up to date.

As for your offers, they should be "clear" whether you need to book a room or not. Again, a telephone call will get you answers, probably faster than waiting for one here.

I could answer some of them, but my information is probably stale and dated, since it would stem from my last visit, Nov 2009.

****Typically, one does need to book a room, although I would check to be sure.

The 10/7 DB in the Game Kings between the bar and the valet door at MSS are $3 for a point.

Thanks Sue! I was wondering about the circle of six near the main street bar at the Cal and the Heart RF bonus ones also. I used to play at the 10/7's in the alcove above the craps table that were $1 a point but they got rid of them or moved them. Thanks as always for your info, I always look for your posts for anything MSS!!!

The Golden Gate bartop 9/6 DDB progressives are only on the royal. Don't know about any current promos there other than for new sign-ups.

Snce you're staying at MSS, you can take the shuttle to ST from the Fremont I believe.

There is an area in the new section of ST, near ST Live, that has 100% payout Deuces Wild, DB, and DDB. My friend just got back today and told me he hit one Royal, and 5 4OK Deuces. Those machines pay $2 for one credit. One thing nice about the bConnected is that you can get cash back for your play. 1000 points=$1.

Thanks Bagiant, are those the same group of 8 or so machines that were next to the arcade that dealt REALLY slow? There used to be a bank of 9/7 DB over there with a progressive that reset at 1500. We were going to go out there on Thursday and spend the whole day there, but I wish I could figure out the whole "birthday" vip event. If it is worth it we'll roll out there on the 18th instead.
