My brother lost his fight against ALS last Monday!

Oh Patty,
I am so sorry for your loss.
Yes, like many others I prayed for comfort for both him and you .
Your brother sounds like a gem.

My brother told me:
No love EVER dies--

hold him tight in your heart and mind.

Love,
Jeanne-Marie
My deepest sympathy Patti.May he rest in peace.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. Rest assured he is in a better place. A place where he no longer feels any pain. Comfort comes from all the wonderful memories you have from the times spent together. Take care and prays go out to you and your family during this difficult time.
I'm so sorry for your loss Pattie. You & your family have been in our prayers and will remain so. Take consolation in the fact that you were able to be with him, to show him how loved he really was and to be able to say goodbye before he passed. It doesn't make his loss any easier, but at least throughout those last days he knew how much love and support he had from you. We were not so blessed when my brother passed unexpectedly in July. I regret that we didn't have any time to say our goodbyes, although I am certain he passed knowing exactly how much we all loved him. But I'd still have given anything to have spent a few last hours with him.

Sorry for your loss.
Thank you everyone.
I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. He may have lost the battle but he won the war as he is now pain-free. It sounds like you are a great and loving sister. May he rest in peace.
So sorry to read your sad news.

Rick
My wife and I were lucky enough to meet up with Patti & her husband Chick and Patti's brother George & wife Ronnie several years ago in Vegas. We casino hopped in Chick & Patti's rental car with George & Ronnie. I got the biggest kick out of George and his sense of humor. George was a "guy's guy" that was fun to be around. Like I told Patti, it's a good thing we didn't live closer because George and I could have got into lots of trouble. It was only months after we met that he was diagnosed with ALS. Joyce & I couldn't believe it as he seemed just fine when we met. I'm just glad I got to meet George and Ronnie & Patti and Chick. That trip will always be remembered unlike other trips that just seem to blend together.
Sheltie, George isn't in pain anymore and he can do all of the things he used to before he got sick. Rejoice in his life and all of the fun things you all did together. He'll never really be gone because he will always reside in your memories.
