My Laughlin Day Tour

Laughlin is a great visit for a few days! It is so less hectic than Las Vegas. We always head here (90 miles south and a lovely ride) after landing in Las Vegas from the east coast. Several walkable casinos to visit right along the Colorado River. Enjoy going across the bridge into Bullhead City and visit Oatman, the old western town with wild burrows roaming. Fun little trip. Many Mexican restaurants here too. Visiting the Avi casino (Indian) is great time too.

Everyone in and about the Laughlin area are very friendly.....extend your trip here; it will be a great time!
I enjoy visiting Laughlin.Especially in February or March coming in from Michigan, driving into Laughlin from Kingman and watching the temperature guage climb into the 70's then into the 80's after a long winter.
Good to know there is public transportation. Thanks for reading guys!
Our next trip we plan on spending some time in Laughlin. Tghis may be a silly question, but are all the hotel/casinos sort of interconnected or do youy have to walk out the front door or down to the riverwalk to get to the next place? The mobility issue previously brought up made me think of it, I just assumed they were all kind of connected by something if nothing more than a shaded walkway.

Also, if they are interconnected, are they as far apart as Vegas?
All the casinos are on the river, except one. The Riverside is at the east end. On the riverwalk, it's maybe two football fields, two hundred yards, to Aquarius.
It's about 100 yards from Aquarius to the Edgewater, with a small slots only casino in between. There is a walkway from Edgewater to Colorado Belle. From the CB to the Pioneer, the walk peter's out. It's there, and you can walk it, but it's obscure. You can walk from the front door of the Pioneer to either the Trop across the street or the Golden Nugget next door to the Pioneer. Going west from the Nugget, there's a casino I've never been and it recently changed names. Harrahs is about a half mile further west. As you walk towards Harrahs, you'll see the Old Town Tavern. Cutting through the parking lot, you'll find a staircase that takes you to Harrahs and cuts off several minutes off the walk.

Nothing is enclosed, or even very shaded. I recommend a car. You might be able to buy an all day water taxi pass, but I find it expensive.
Yea, sounds like car needed for sure .Thanks.
Thanks Bill...that is a better explanation than I could have offered.
There is a fair amount of walking involved.
They aren't as close together as Downtown Vegas!
