I paired it up with a 24 inch Dell computer monitor. Looks and runs great but I'm not really impressed with the Edge browser. I'll probably switch to Mozilla or Chrome in the future. The tower was $599 plus tax. The monitor was 179.99 plus tax.

$599 plus tax. Amazing. That is a lot of computing power for $600 compared to 10 or 20 years ago. It's all about the monitor, today .
Microsoft makes a great computer. I am glad I didn’t get an iPad. The surface combines the best part about a laptop and a tablet. Plus, it is so easy to carry around. I can’t imagine using my full size laptop for anything other than Photoshop and video editing now.

Manterro, I like edge. I used to be a big Firefox guy, but for the last year or so it seems to bring constant problems. I get scripting errors on a lot of webpages that lock the browser up no matter which of my computers I use. I won’t use Chrome because of the insidious way that Google tracks you when you use their products.
Snidely, do you do your draft in Vegas? That's where my son was this weekend.

Try the SSd's of today compared with the hard card's of the late 1980's. My 10 MB hard card took both a low level format and fdisk to get things setup just to format the beast. Now it's a diskpart and formatting it takes all of 2 seconds.

Btw, my first personal pc was the ye olde VIC 20.

My desktop PC is about 7 years old and I installed an SSD hard drive for my Win7 OS a couple years ago and was shocked how much of a difference it made. I'd build a new PC for myself but I have no need fo r a more powerful machine yet. It only has 4GB of RAM so I'm not putting Win10 on it.

My first PC was a MacIntosh. I should have bought stock in Apple instead of buying it! LOL

Nah, just went to the commissioner's house. It took 9 hours. I was exhausted afterwards. Guys have been in this league for 20 years. It was my first time and the teams I inherited were not good. They had a lot of over priced players I had to waive.

Got to make the tough choices...That's why you GMs make the big bucks.

Review:
After having this for a month, I have to say this one of the best machines I have ever bought. That is not in terms of processing power, but in terms of versatility. When folded up with its type cover, it is about the size and weight of a typical 10-inch tablet. It is so small that I can take it anywhere, and when I leave the house, it is usually in my car. The tablet construction of the screen makes it tougher and more durable to tote around too. Over the years, so many of my laptops bit the dust early because of the rough treatment they had to endure because I had to take them with me when I traveled.

The keyboard is amazing. I love the how the keys feel as you type on them. I can type more accurately on this small keyboard than I can on my 15-inch laptop. If you have ever destroyed a laptop keyboard with a spill, you will appreciate since this keyboard is detachable by design you simply order another one or pick one up at any big box retailer rather than having to take it into the shop for an expensive repair.

Being able to able to run all of my windows apps from a device has keeps me off the big old laptop 98% of the time. It is amazing how big bulky and fragile a 15-inch laptop feels after using this device for a few weeks. It has also replaced my aging Samsung Galaxy Tab as my primary tablet. I watch my Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and read my Kindle books on this device rather than on my tablet. I’d recommend it as it has all the benefits of a tablet plus it adds the benefits of the usability of a windows laptop with a keyboard.

I have almost the same system. Lenovo is fine. It's the "idea centre" tower.$700,shipped..
I sold the 8 GIG ram and went all the way to a 32 GB pair.Best Buy Ram.
I cannot run my comp with less that 2 monitors. The Lenovo.. needs.. a dedicated video card to run 2.
I went with Nvidia Quadro 600. Cheap.
