My new Tablet

I Picked up the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 this last Sunday. I love it works great. What really attracted me to it was the low price $249 and the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. I also discovered back in December I prefer the 7 inch tablet vs the 10 inch as I have found I can stick it in my pocket when I have to which makes it much more mobile than lugging my bigger one around so it really suits my needs.

I modified my cell phone to force it to offer a hot spot and now I tether the the Tab to it and it works great. I get unlimited text, 450 talk minutes, unlimited web and now 3G tethering for $30 a month can't beat that.

Well done, sounds like a good deal. One thing is for sure: the price of electronics like this keeps coming down, down, down... that can only be a good thing for us consumers.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 inch and I absolutely love it. My mom is looking for something similar but was thinking of the Kindle Fire because she didn't want to spend as much money for the Galaxy. Did you try out a Kindle Fire before you bought the Galaxy? Do they offer similar features?

I already have a Kindle Fire, and that device is great for consuming Amazon content, but the Tab is much better for everything else. Well worth an extra $50 if you need

more of a computer replacement.

I had the Galaxy 10.1, but I either lost it or had it stolen. I liked it enough that I want to get another from Verizon.

How do you loose track of a ten inch tablet?

Boy! I could lose anything with her!!!

I still can't believe someone tried to stiff her for such a small amount.

I either lost my tablet, or it was stolen by contractors at my house or by the cleaning people at work. Verizon stated that nobody has tried to use my 4G service. I did put a hold on the service. Verizon admitted that someone could still use the tablet at a hot spot.

I have people teasing me at work that I'm going to open a file folder next year, and there will be my lost tablet.

I have the Samsung 10.1 Galaxy Tablet and love it !!!!!

Stereo speakers, very light ....... great for the 5+ hour flights to Vegas from the east coast,
especially since SouthWest has WiFi available on a lot of their flights.
