My Preakness bets

I have California Chrome wheeled against the field in an exacta and I have him in a triple boxed with Ria Antonia and Social Inclusion.

I hope that the exacta at least kept you close to even for all of that.

My $2 exacta cost $18. It paid $18.20.
my other 2 were close...i never considered the 10.
oh well...i only lost $12.
I am very excited for a possible triple crown winner.

I was behind some guys at the track today who were making that same bet of wheeling Cali Chrome with the field but they were exceeding the $500 limit at the machine kept failing at making the bet. It was a half hour prior to post so I assume they got it figured out.

That's not bad and I am also excited at the same possibility. It seems that extra length at the Belmont has cost many others in the same position. When I was a kid, I remember 73, 77, and 78 as Triple Crown seasons. I just assumed it would happen a lot but alas it hasn't.

Well the triple crown is still alive. This is a wonderful horse. I hope it makes it.
