Before the meltdown of the board, I posted about the new MyVegas game on Facebook. To fill some of you in, it's like a Farmville game (I'm guessing because I never played it) As you make progress through the game, you build properties on the strip that are in the MLife casino group.Every couple of hours, you go the "strip screen" and collect your chips and use them to play the games. The more you play the game, the more casinos you "own" and you gain more chips. As you gather coins to play the slot machine games you gain Loyalty Points. These points can be used for everything from buffets, shows, attractions, rooms, etc, just like you get when you use your players card at the casino.
As you play the game, other "friends" on Facebook are playing the game at the same time. When they win a "bonus round", they are able to post their win and you are able to pick up 50 to 100 chips for you to play in your game. At first, you were able to pick up as many bonus chips as you could, but now they have capped that at 50,000 per day. When I started playing the game, I only had 100+ normal friends. After finding a group of people that are die-hard players of the game, I have 650+ new friends that are helping me pick up the extra play chips.
As of right now, I have about 50,000 Loyalty points in my account and my roommate has about 52,000. We share my little NetBook to play the game and it really slows us down everytime we switch Facebook accounts to play. We are going to Las Vegas next June or July with about 15 to 20 people. By then I hope to have built up close to a miliion points between our two accounts so we can have a very full vacation.
There are a few other people on the LVA Baord here that are playing the game as well. I hope they will post some stories about their game play and what they are trying to win.
