Nancy Pelosi on gasoline taxes

The hike should not be 10 cents but $1. And the proceeds should not be spent by, or even entrusted to, the government. They should be immediately and entirely returned to the consumer by means of a cut in the Social Security tax.""

I agree the gas tax should be raised $1.00 but I feel it should be directly spent to pay down the deficit, or at the very worse split 50/50 between infrastructure and the deficit.

Boiler two things, I was trying to show that a well known conservative favors a gas tax increase and number two you don't have to resort to pissy statements, at least with me, to make your point or ask questions.

Typical Liberalism. "How can we get more money for government?"

Drink up!

That, my angry friend, is not a picture. It is merely an emoticon. But you can call it anything you want - we know how things work in your little world....

Tutontow - Don't take it personally if Purdueman gets pissy with you....or talks down to you. He feels it is his god given right, since he graduated from a place of "higher learning" in W. Lafayette, Hoosierville.

Talking down to those he feels are "beneath him" is an everyday occurence here at the LVA for the Boilerdude.

It's a damn shame that place of higher learning in west central Indiana did not emphasize 'rithmetic' any better. He gets confused when presented with facts.....or graphs showing the facts. Numbers also get him quite flustered.

But if you agree to tow the Faux/Koch company line, tune in to AM talk radio 6 hours a day, and act like a Stepford robot, you too can join the "usual suspects" here on the FFA and spout off incoherently about assinine things that no one can make heads or tails of ! You might even get to be Boilerman's friend ! Hell, even a PM might be in order !

But, I am afraid you have too much common sense and smarts for that. Traits that Boilerman and his kind are NOT looking for.

Like I said at the start of this post, don't take it personally. Even tho Boiler thinks his opinions matter.......they DON'T !

From the first sentence in Wikipedia addressing emoticons: "An emoticon (/??mo?t?k?n/) (short for emotion icon) is a metacommunicative pictorial representation of a facial expression...".

Wikipedia apparently disagrees with you.

Also from Wiki "In recent times, graphic representations, both static and animated, have taken the place of traditional emoticons in the form of icons."
