Nascar legend DICK TRICKLE commits suicide.

Nascar legend Dick Trickle commited suicide earlier today. Details are still trickling in (pardon the pun), but it seems he placed a cellphone call from a cemetary informing authorities they would find a dead body there. When police arrived, they found him deceased of a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

He was Nascar Cup Rookie of the Year in 1990. Over 300 starts in the Cup Series, 100's of starts in the Busch Series.

ESPN, having some fun with his name, would always mention him, no matter where he finished the race.

I remember him back in the 70's and 80's when he used to run the old ASA short track series.

RIP Dick Trickle!

Sad news; I knew him personally. My brother used to be in his pit crew, called the "screw crew". What a shame :-(
