Ndamukong Suh loses his appeal

Good for the NFL. This appeal was nothing more than a ploy for hoping Suh could suit up against the Saints and delay his suspension for easier opponents.

The NFL announced today that Suh’s suspension was upheld, following an appeal hearing with Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Shell, who now serves as an NFL-NFLPA on-field affairs officer, on Thursday.

Former NFL cornerback Merton Hanks, who is now a vice president inside the league office, originally handed down the two-game suspension, and under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, all appeals of such suspensions are handled by Shell or the other NFL-NFLPA on-field affairs officer, Ted Cottrell.

So Suh, who bolstered his reputation as a dirty player by stomping on Evan Dietrich-Smith on Thanksgiving, will be suspended for the Lions’ game Sunday against the Saints and next week against the Vikings. He will be reinstated to the Lions’ active roster on December 12.

He needs to just serve the suspension and move on. Hopefully this will send a strong signal to knock off the cheap bull shit shots that he took.
I'm glad Suh will be sitting the 2 games. I think it fits the crime. I've seen much worse in football and hockey so I don't feel a season long suspension or lifetime ban was in order. The Lions don't have any easy games remaining. The divisional home game against the Vikings won't even be easy.

Any thoughts on Rolando McClain allegedly holding a loaded gun to a guys head last night and smirking during his arrest photo outside his house? Playing in the NFL is a privilege and I think the off duty type offenses deserve the most severe punishments. I doubt anyone will imitate that McClain stuff in the endzone like Stevie Johnson did to Plaxico last weekend.

They should have suspended him from playing when they play the Packers in a few weeks. It would of been fitting and Justice!

He lost his appeal to me a long time ago.
The Lions got more penalties yesterday. They seem to be fighters instead of winners. Suh's the ring leader and the coach has no control.
