NE Patriots Aaron Hernandez charged with murder

Patriots have released him.

From website Deadspin:
According to a third party, Hernandez was angry with Lloyd for talking to a group of people at a nightclub on the previous Friday, a group that Hernandez apparently had beef with. The prosecutor said authorities have tape of Hernandez, with a firearm, saying "You can't trust anyone anymore" before driving to pick up Lloyd.

Ah, the thug life.
Once a gangsta always a gangsta. Although I'm not a Patriots fan, I don't blame them for releasing him instead of waiting through the trial. When they released him he hadn't been formally indicted yet. I don't know if they thought he would only be brought up on charges of destroying evidence or if they knew there would be murder charges. The disruption through the season would have been horrible. If somehow he is exonerated from this, I'm sure the Patriots will talk to him.

This guy has a troubled past. This will only make other teams gun shy of ever taking trouble makers in the draft.

He won't be indicted, formally or otherwise, he's already been charged and arraigned.
He may just be insane.

Who in their right mind would kill someone when they are set to earn 40 million dollars over the next five years?

Tell you what. If Aaron Hernandez was looking to get his own show on the Food Network or have his name affiliated with Caesars buffets, he's going about this the wrong way.
I bet all this happened because his father let him gamble in a casino before he turned 21.
No one's even mentioned the really scary fact that murderers often go on to commit even more serious crimes, up to and including internet copyright violations.

Sorry. I meant to say he was arraigned.

Murder is the gateway offense to other crimes the same way marijuana is the first step to more serious drugs like meth. If we can rehabilitate Aaron Hernandez immediately, he won't as likely go on to commit copy and pasting violations on message boards or steal mints at check out.
Hernandez had to admit to NFL teams that he failed a drug test for marijuana.

In the timeline for the murder, he bought rolling papers that night.

His lawyer argued that the evidence is very circumstantial, yet it is extremely strong circumstantial evidence.

He better get used to looking through bars.
