Nearing Completion of Evaluation of RS system (not)

If his system is found to be valid, will Rob be allowed to rejoin the forum?

What is "valid"?

System A calls for me to play VP until I've had three beers.
System B calls for me to play VP until I hit a full house.

If one of the systems causes me to leave the casino quicker, therefore losing less money, then does that make it a "valid" or better system than the other?

The question of a "valid" or "good" system is so subjective that you could have many different correct answers.
It was not the validity or lack thereof of Singer's system that got him banned.

I was not planning on making statements to the absolute validity of the system. I will be delineating the process by which it's precepts could be tested and confirmed and allowing people to make their own judgments.

If you simply tell people things, they can simply choose not to believe you.

If you give them the tools to decide for themselves, one can only hope they at least listen to themselves.

I am only very casually involved with VP at this point and I working on several software designs, product prototyping jobs and will likely not get the eval typed up until next week.

There is no betting system that can change the expected return of VP games. That is a proven mathematical fact. Frank understands this all too well.

So, I've given the answer to the question of whether Singer's system provide an advantage? It doesn't.

However, a progression does change the dynamics. I suspect Frank will be discussing how this might change the way a person approaches the game. It should be interesting to see what he says.

But that wasn't the question that was originally asked to Frank. I believe the original question was "what do you think of the system?", which is a much broader question and could leave to many different subjective opinions. For example, one could opinion that it is a great system as it leads to many lively discussions on internet discussion boards.

Be careful what you ask for, as you may get it.
This has all the build-up of the Gettysburg. Lol
...you mean the Hindenberg?
oh the humanity..
You can burn all the blimps you want, but the three beer system has never been disproven.

Indeed...KayPea, good memory on what I was asked and how I was asked it.

I declared my completion of information gathering when it occurred, if I had known there would be so much anticipation for the evaluation, I would have waited a bit longer to post that, since as I've said it will take some time to compile it.

Just be patient, we're in the home stretch, all that remains is honor and death.

P.S. I intend to entitle it: Frank Kneeland on Rob Singer to give all of you ample opportunity for the picking of low hanging fruit.
