Nearing Completion of Evaluation of RS system (not)

Of course, you have to determine the goals before you can do any evaluation. If you have some other goals you want to discuss then state them. Otherwise, I think most people understand that a VP system is about winning. Good luck with your "other" goals.

I agree completely; you have determine the goals first. But Frank has never stated the goals that he is using to evaluate the Singer system. We can only speculate about the goals he has chosen and then guess about his conclusions. If we assume in an incorrect goal, then our guess about the conclusion can never be correct.

I also agree that most people would assume that a VP system is about winning. Based upon Franks discussions here over the past few months, I have to say that I don't think Frank is most people. Sure, winning should be a part of it, but his questions and discussions here have gone much deeper and further than just the math, hence 25,000 words instead of 6 words.
I read both of his books and THIS is the truth:

If you combined the info in both books PLUS all of the videos he did with me PLUS the videos he used to send out as emails PLUS the info on his website when it operated PLUS everything else he has written you would not have the info to test his system or even to understand his system.

I compare it to Doyle Brunson's Super System book which has 603 pages. If you memorized every page you still couldn't play poker like Doyle Brunson. Nor could you say if his system would work or not.

Reviews are subjective by nature, be they book reviews, hotel reviews, or, yes, even restaurant reviews. Most of times a review seeks to answer "how much did you enjoy _____?". The answer can be nothing but subjective. A book review could be objective and discuss the "math" of the book, and detail the number of pages and words, but that would be a short and boring review, probably about 6 words.

Video poker is not poker. There are many things in poker that have nothing to do with math. Yes, it has a basis in math that is required to be successful, but it also includes the ability to read what others are doing. You can't do that with math.

With VP there is no way to read the machine. There is no way to bluff the machine. It is math pure and simple.

Rather than reading all the nonsense Singer spews, you'd do better to spend some time understanding the math. Then you could understand that what you are claiming is completely ridiculous and it reflects on your ability to analyze anything technical.

You are a fountain of rubbish. According to your argument, even DB can't say if his system works (nor could Kobe Bryant say his jump shot works).

There are no poker genes nor poker genies inside DB. It is an objectively real game that he mastered.

A mathematically valid system that is detrimental to one's physical or mental health is not a "good" system.
No Marcus. What I am saying is that thousands of poker players have read Doyle's book and can't play like DB.

If you read Super System and based on your comment you did not -- DB does not say it will make you a winner. It is both a history book and a biography and a strategy guide as well as a resource guide for playing varios poker games.

Arc: we all know you are the #1 defender of the math of the game. Relax because no one is challenging the math. 1+1 will always equal 2. Singer just doesn't want to follow the math sometimes. And there is more to the RS system than just math and basic strategy but you will have to open your mind to new ideas to see that.

Now I have to say this and be sure you understand it: I don't know if Rob's system can turn anyone into a winner. I don't follow it. But he does have some good ideas. And so I take from his system "the good ideas" and I leave it at that.
I think we might be better served by a 25000 word treatise on how to smuggle brownies out of the buffet.
Hay Marcus consider this: Kobe makes about 45 percent of his shots. I'd bet you that RS connects on 45 percent of his hands. LOL
