Nearing Completion of Evaluation of RS system (not)

That's very kind of you to say. It is easy for me to be patient, because I have always known I was the odd one and that I didn't think like everyone else. At times it can be a blessing, most of the times it is a curse. Clarity of thought has brought me mostly sadness. it's awfully difficult for me to begrudge people, that in many ways I envy.

There is a direct correlation (about .4) between high IQ and depression. I have been aware of this a lot lately and the more illusions I dispel in my life the less happy I seem to be. If at times I seem preachy and you think to yourself that you'd wish I'd said less...imagine how it is for me! I have to live with me everyday. I can be such a buzz kill sometimes. You are seriously talking to someone that has over-thought themselves out of a wet dream fantasy, because halfway though I started to worry about the moral implications (In my sleep).

Lurker: I am very aware why Rob has so many critics. I told Rob several times that he is his worst enemy. If Rob didn't have his "history" I think his "method" would be considered in a more favorable light. I am hoping that the past can be put aside by ALL parties so that his method can be evaluated fairly and without bias.

And Lurker I do not intend to criticize but I do take stands when I offer opinions on forums. If you took the time to look and read you'd see that I challenge Rob in the interviews for his beliefs.

I do not endorse or follow his method as a whole but I see some value in it. And yes when someone banks a million bucks I want to know why.

It's too bad that Rob's "special plays" have gotten so much attention because I don't think they factor into his method as much as anyone thinks. Rob still wants to play the best paytables for the best possible outcome.

Remember this: one of his special plays (number 13) he admitts he only played ONCE in his life and he says he has seen the hand in question only TWICE in his life. Did something get blown out of proportion? Maybe.

By the way I don't get much traffic from Rob on my website... Only about 12-thousand page views so far plus another 20-thou views of his videos. I have a dicount perfume video that has had more than 47-thou views and double that in page views. And I got paid to do the perfume video. Rob didn't pay me a dime but it cost me several thous $ to shoot and edit the 36 videos I did with him. But I think it was worth it to give him a fair hearing and to show his special plays and have him explain some of his beliefs.

Unfortunately I still don't know ALL oF his system/method and from my discussions with Rob which recently have almost been on a daily basis I don't see how anyone can claim to know his system. I do know this however the system can be demonstrated by Rob but since it will vary with each deal, with his bankroll, and win/loss at the moment it cannot be duplicated for a test.

frank - i hear you with the intelligence + depression thing. intelligence can be a huge downfall sometimes. i have an insane memory and can remember everything i read, pretty much verbatim.

it kind of sucks because it lets you realize just how many people are liars. someone can post something today that contradicts something they posted years ago and the original post will be stuck in my memory bank.

Melbedewey: it's alanbestbuys.com. The link to my forum is on our homepage but it is a separate site. My main site has about 250 pages of content. The videos with Rob are on the VP pages (six in all) along with the discussion of PROPER strategy (emphasis intentionally added for all of my critics). I'm afraid you will have to hunt down the index to find the VP pages.

Well I think to be fair we should consider the possibility that they don't remember their original post and that perhaps their memory and their opinion has altered in their own mind over time. Memory is a funny thing. And yes I know having a good one can be like having a garbage can you can never empty.

Sometimes forgetting is a blessing we are denied.

How's is that not intented to criticize or ridicule?

Then let's move on to your next quote:

I took the time! I read all the Singer stuff on your website and watched the videos. I don't see much challenging as far as Singer is concerned. In the interviews you just act "suprised" at several moments and just ask him to say again what he just said. That's not challenging in my opinion. I've also seen you ignore 90% of the mathimatical proof that was offered. You allow Singer to post far more personal insults on your website than the people actually challenging Singer's system. Somehow you don't want to see that as soon as somebody criticizes Singer's system the only response he's giving is personal attacks. Why not wonder why he doesn't give in debt responses about his system? Why isn't he more eager to share all there is to know???? No alarm bells?????

For somebody who sees "some" value in Singer's system you do spend a lot of time trying to convince people there's value in it. Why is that? What does it bring you?

You should need to ask yourself one question: "why is it that after all this talking about his "system" for the last 5 years, nobody but Singer still has a "clear" view of what his system exactly means?". To me, there are only two possible answers:
A) Singer doesn't understand his own "system"
B) Singer doesn't want anybody to know all the ins and outs of his "system" because.......it could all be a fantasy.....
