Yes, but if I had kept playing I would have lost the $200 and had no bankroll for a second trip. As it was I spent the extra airfare to come back to lose the $200. So a win goal ended up costing me more money.
You should have played SPS as it was intented . You would have won close to one million and airfare would not have been an issue......

I have the solution for you Kaypea: if you don't want to return to Vegas then by all means gamble away your entire net worth plus all the credit you can get your hands on in ONE trip.

Losing one's net worth at VP is a smart move; you will still be ahead in "the long run".

Arc two questions:

1. How did you determine the correlation of $2500 for "Singer" and $125 for a 25 cent player? Where does that come from?

2. Why would a 25 cent player need to pursue a $125 win? If the quarter player started only $50 why wouldn't a $10 win goal (20 percent) be okay? How about $5 which is 10 percent?

Singer's average bet as he plows through his system is about the same as a $5 denomination player ($25 bet/hand). Hence, $2500/$25 = 100. That is, his win goal is 100 times his average bet. Thus, the average bet of a quarter player for the equivalent value would be $1.25*100 = $125.

How simple is that? Just trying to make an apples to apples comparison.

Trying to base it on some random amount of money a person "started" with is meaningless.

As I see it, the primary reason people in this thread cannot agree or even understand each other is because not only is WHAT they believe divergent, HOW they believe differs as well.

No need to step back. I've known this for years. As a narcissist Singer believes everyone lies just like he does. Consciously, he actually thinks he is normal. So, that takes the truth completely out of the picture when dealing with Singer. At some lower level he knows this is true which is why he projects so much of his own self hatred.

The basis of the system is to win a set amount of money per session. Singer is smart enough set a very high bankroll to start with in order to "Matingale" his way to a small win. The win goal is a % of the bankroll.
I've cancelled the book purchase survey which was only created to show how few people on forums buy books as a result of posting. Turns out we also proved how few people are capable of following instructions. The count after a day remains at zero for people that purchased my book as a result of my postings. I believe the true number is closer to 10.

Please understand I expected this, and do not consider this to be a problem. Nor is it something I'm seeking to FIX!

I just post here to help out and share my experience. Pro gambling is a thankless lonely job and I appreciate any opportunity for connection with my fellow humans.

I want you to prove me wrong and make money at the same time. For 2012, when you go into a casino, count the amount of money you're taking, and leave as soon as you're up 5%. You'll be making extra money throughout the year and can post here of your success employing a win goal. The reason I say 5% is because that is Singer's win goal percentage compared to his bankroll.

Is this something you're willing to try?

You must introduce the concept of "loss carry forward" or else the Tabula Rasa Fairy will bias the results.
