Negative rates and hoarding cash

It was so nice of you to rip off your sister. You could have at least offered to split the profits
No kidding, what are big brothers for?
Yes, the right thing to do was to let her put the money in the bank.

I'm thinking a high grade Captain America from the war era. Trouble with silver, which I buy whenever I see it cheap, is the time frame. A few years ago, I'd accumulated several hundred ounces of silver and cashed in at $45.
Now I buy low and plan to sell when it hits $30 but don't know if that will be in a year or in ten years.. The fun thing is getting the oddball item. I recently bought ten one ounce bars from an on line auction. When going through them I discovered one was from 1971, depicting the flag raising at Iwo. Same design that I got for Christmas that year. It brought back some great memories.

By the way, I will make the same offer to anyone here. Don't hide your money under the mattress or pay a bank to hold it for you.
I will pay a whooping one percent, up front on whatever funds you wish to send me for a one year loan.
Hey XarleS , Great song , but it ain't no " "Who Stole the Keeshka?"

Round, firm and fully-packed
It was hanging on the rack
Someone stole the keeshka
When I turned my back Bob
I like DIS here for a long term hold
Long term, perhaps, but I wouldn't buy it now. Short term, I like Mattel, but I think I'm in the minority.
Should Hilary win, I believe Christmas spending will be very good this year.
DonDiego suggests it may well be a time for caution in the world's stock markets.

All the world's central banks are trying to keep the party going, but nothing lasts forever. And now one large bank is about to experience liquidity problems.
Item: Deutsche Bank Crisis

It's not 2007-all-over-again, . . .yet. But it is beginning to smell a bit like it.
The sky is falling
