I have an overactive sense of humor, and take very few things seriously. I relate to many comedians -- and have since childhood. If I had to pick one (currently working), I would cheat and say Louis C.K. and Eddie Izzard. (Although, at least one of the two might call himself a comic, rather than a comedian.)

Amen to that brother. Pisses me off to no end how they have the fucking nerve to show up in this great country of ours and actually have the nerve to not even bother to try to communicate with you in English.

What is even worse is when they have their kids be their spokes person and translate for you.

Because of the nature of my job, I come into contact with lots of adult Hispanics on a daily basis. 90 % of them can communicate in English, sometimes broken English, but English nonetheless.

In the building where I work, there is an office that teaches English as a second language. They have about a 9 month waiting list because of the demand.

When I came from Cuba in the early 60's as a 9-year old child, I didn't speak a word of English. Within 6 months, I had learned perfect English. It is the adult immigrants that struggle to learn English, their children learn quickly, so it's only a one-generation problem.

And what's so bad about having your kids translate for you? What are you really pissed off about?

There is a line from Forrest Gump that immediately comes to mind as I read this decision concerning Nesalk.
