NESALK'S "DANCE MOMS" DISCUSSION GROUP

Due to a health scare with my air conditioner, I haven't been able to watch last week's episode. Hopefully tonight though.

Well, get on it! How could you possibly wait so long?

We have a parent meeting for the dance team next week. I am going to announce that I am not there to make friends, won't share costumes, won't ride the bus, and they better like it. Either they watch the show and they'll think its funny or they don't and they'll think I'm a total bitch.

I know it's already three or so episodes in, but how about Bachelor Pad?
Watched the first episode and told myself how STUPID it was.
So I've watched it ever since............
Vienna, what a b**ch.

I'm always a little bit sad on Thursday morning because I have to wait another week for the next episode.

I don't think it was a very exciting episode. For once, I thought the best dancer was Maddie. Nia shouldn't even be on the pyramid next time because she totally screwed up the dance. They would have won 1st place if she hadn't screwed up.

I think Holly totally overreacted to Nia's solo. I think she's ashamed to be black. Abby teaching Nia ethnic dances is going to benefit her in the future.

I was also hoping for more drama in the exchange between the angry pastor and Abby.

And how does Cathy continue to get away with not riding the bus and doing what Abby tells her? I'd kick her off the team.

Toddlers and Tiaras.

I don't watch it, but I see highlights on the Soup. These parents are as creepy as they come, and are living their beauty queen dreams through their very young daughters. They have had 5 year olds get sprayed on tans.

I like that show.

We watch Toddlers too! I agree that the parents are creepy. At least the dance moms are giving their girls an education in dance that they can later use to get jobs performing or teaching. The toddler moms are teaching their kids to rely on their looks which obviously fade if their parents are any indication. We especially love the episodes when there is an upset and the winner was not one of the girls that was followed by the show.

My guilty pleasure is most of the Real Housewives shows. The NJ one this season has been great.

I am embarrassed to admit that I fell asleep during this weeks episode and I just finished watching it this morning. I love that Abby didn't back down and put Nia in another ethnic dance and Holly didn't like it and then Nia won first place. It was not, in my opinion, a great episode. The previews for next week look pretty good and it looks like Chloe will finally get her chance to perform a good dance.


Nesalk, I'm a little disappointed that you haven't posted anything lately. You started this group. I thought you loved Dance Moms.

Apologies for neglecting my viewing of this magnificent piece of programming. I have my DVR set for tonight so that I can catch up!
