Never again Cosmopolitan

I just called to see how much credit I had there from my last trip and i was told $0!

Last April I stayed at the Cosmo one night. I had booked a wraparound suite which ended up being on the 5th floor facing a wall. So I downgraded to a one bedroom suite. I was credited $50 food and beverage for downgrading. I was told if I didn't use it or had some credit left over, I can use it whenever at a later date.

So I call today and they found the left over $34 dollars credit, because I used a little while I was there at the pizzeria. So the rep told me that I was suppose to get some kind of "make it right" card before leaving. I told her that I didn't get zip and that I went to front desk to check out. I was told credit will be on file whenever I come back. So since I don't have a card, I'm screwed. It even shows on the computer that I have credit left there!!
If it shows up on the computer call back and talk to someone else.
I wouldn't be so quick to write this off with "never again". It looks like you'll be there shortly, so when you get into Vegas go to the Cosmo and ask to speak with someone who can fix this problem. I'm sure that you can fix this face to face, and because you can't use the credit till you get there anyway it seems like that will be the best time to deal with it. A supervisor may be needed to override any previous error by other employees and there will likely be one available at the desk. If it still shows in their computer I can't see any reason why they wouldn't fix it for you.
I agree with the 2 responses. Get ahold of somebody who has authority. The low-level types cant override system constraints or clerical errors. Management can. If a manager says you are out of luck then I'd boycott for awhile.

Thanks for the replies and advice everyone. I have been thinking about this. I think I will go there when I arrive and speak to someone in person. Maybe that will get things fixed for me.
You sound like the people that email at the bank...make sure to chew someones ass out who literally has no authority or even any idea of the situation at hand. The people that are nice to me and say please and thank you..I help them as much as I can. People who curse and have no manner no matter what the situation is...I just simply tell them to F off in so many words.... I hope you get what you are looking for and deserve...just be patient and courteous...

I have an identity card from them. But the card I was suppose to get was called a "make it right" card, in wich I knew nor was told anything about that. I was just told that whenever i come back, the remainding credit will be there.
