Heard on one of the cable news shows today that new regs go into effect next August. Pretty svere penalties for bumping people. I don't think we'll see a lot of people collecting those max amounts though. I think that between them cleaning their act up some on overbooking and agressively pushing vounteer bumps, they won't pay too many max penalties. Overall, I think it will help a bit. You can bet your last dollar that those penalties and increased cost will come out of increased fares, not their bottom line.
