I'd rather see the Stardust and Westward Ho back where they were, but this is better than the Boyd shell that has been sitting there for years.

Boy has it been that long. I remember going to the Dust for one last time before it closed and eating my favorite meal in the coffee shop.....Eggs Rothchild. It was like Eggs Benedict but it had filet mignon in place of Canadian bacon and bernaise sauce instead of Hollandaise. Boy was it delicious.

Did Boyd sell this property or is it still a Boyd project?

BYD sold it.

From Bloomberg 4 March 2013:
"Genting will pay $350 million in cash for the 87-acre site, once home to the Stardust, Las Vegas-based Boyd said today in a statement. Boyd took an impairment charge of about $994 million in the fourth quarter, increasing its adjusted loss more than ninefold from a year earlier."
