New Grazie Club changes at Venetian/Palazzo- comped nights are back

Just posted this on the paid side, but with all the V/P discussion going on over here, i figured I'd post it here also,

Just got this email from V/P tonight. Looks like they have revamped the Grazie Club and made some changes on how points can be used.. Points can now be used for dining, etc. and comped nights appear to be back. (I am gold at V/P, if that matters). Here is the email-

Wait. I just read what you posted, and I have a question about this:

"Grazie guests earn 6% of their theoretical win, Gold guests earn 9% of theoretical win, and Platinum guests earn 12% of theoretical win*. If you play video poker, keno or table-based games, your reinvestment will be at the following rate: Grazie guests earn 6% of their theoretical win, Gold guests earn 7.2% of theoretical win, and Platinum guests earn 9% of theoretical win*"

My question is, what is a THEORETICAL WIN??? Ive only known the phrase THEORETICAL LOSS??
I think it was cleverly worded to mean the theoretical win for the house. I don't think they want to mention a customer's "loss" in an email offer. Sets a bad vibe. "ONLY WINNERS HERE"

The way I understand it to be is this- Let's say you play video poker, and the house's theoretical "win" is $1000 for your coin through. If You are Grazie, you get $60 in comps, Gold $72, and Platinum $90.
I think they are trying save face after all the backlash but unfortunately for them I think the damage has been done and for some I do not think they can fix it.

I wonder if the amount they value the room at comes out of that? You used to earn 40% of your theoretical loss in comps, but the value of the room and any upfront free play came out of that before they looked at taking care of room charges.

I got no such email. It doesn't matter anyway, since there is no way they would get me back after they pulled my comp 23 hours before my plane landed
I got no such message either...and I have had steady offers in my Grazie box for 3 years.
No message here....
Got mine in my personal email box for 2-3 nights and $50.00 free play along with the explanation of the new Grazie Club....

I used to get 2-4 nights and $600.00 in free play and Blue Man tickets and a nice meal in one of the fancier places prior to the change.

Dear Lawrence,

We've missed you! We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience. Exciting changes are coming your way and we hope you'll take advantage of the new benefits Grazie has to offer.

The email goes on to say the same stuff as initially posted.

FYI...I am not a high roller so they must being having a "reduced" change of heart.
All my Grazie box has is the following:

"We're sorry. There are no more complimentary suites available under this promotion.
We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued loyalty."

Right, they're dreaming if they think there will be any "continued loyalty"!
Wow, I did not spend a dime there on play or food when we stayed there on the 5th, specifically because they said the offers were no more.
Now if they are going to flip flop I may have wiped myself right off of their radar.
