Wow, I did not spend a dime there on play or food when we stayed there on the 5th, specifically because they said the offers were no more.
Now if they are going to flip flop I may have wiped myself right off of their radar.

It's all part of the evil master plan. They're just toying with their loyal customer's emotions. Their new strategy is to sucker people in with the lure of FREE ROOMS, only to cancel the comp with as little time possible for the mark to change hotels.

Anyone they can get twice with this ruse is selected for all sorts of pitches....Whole Life, Front Loaded Mutual Funds, Commemerative Gold Coins, and Dr. Natural Colon Clense.

Like that post, alanleroy!

Oh, and you forgot to include the Brooklyn Bridge.

This reconfirms my belief that Adelson doesn't give a s*%t about Las Vegas.
fool me once.....

I've got a card from them and that's about it. I think it's bulls**t to treat like time loyal customers like this though. The reason they were able to build the P was because of Vegas customers not those in Macao. I agree with Sue though, at this point Adelson's money is coming from Asia, so that's all he cares about. If I was a longtime V/P customer and was treated like this, I'd hightail it for the casino that I like best of the rest and never step foot in V/P again. Someone like that doesn't deserve real customers.

Good Luck!

On the gawdawfulbig thread, a few posters expressed concern that other casino companies might follow Adelson's lead in reducing comps. I speculated that it might be tough for them to cobble up a similar deal with big hotel chain rewards program participants taking the place of comped mid-level gamblers. Now Adelson is seen striking out in a new direction- expanding his international holdings. Of course, he is free to do this, and in doing it he only follows the new trend in American business. Go where the cheap labor is; do not waste money in our bad market.

This is something others might follow. Casino development wars in various states have demonstrated how far casino corporations (even debt-strapped corporations) will go to win new markets. If Boyd gets heavy into overseas properties, Sam's wolf will howl for real.

Just posted this on the paid side, but with all the V/P discussion going on over here, i figured I'd post it here also,

Just got this email from V/P tonight. Looks like they have revamped the Grazie Club and made some changes on how points can be used.. Points can now be used for dining, etc. and comped nights appear to be back.

Comped rooms are back...until they try to charge you for them at the last minute.

I have played at the V/P just once for a few hrs this last trip and I also got the email that 12195d quoted so LOL I guess they are fishing for the small folks again. I also would not book with them because of the way they have treat folks. What are they thinking????????????
All my Grazie box has in it is this:

Wow. A new offer from Grazie.

Gee we didn't get one. Wonder why.

I guess Bonnie and I are on their shit list.

Wait and see.

To be honest with you, I don't think we would take it even though, like her, we have been posting positive reports about the Palazzo for years. If you check my Facebook I have two albums of their rooms.

We will be even more PO'd if we don't get this offer.

Didn't Groucho say I wouldn't want to belong to a club that would accept me as a member.
