Just saw the new ads for SWA advertising LIVE TV. Apparently they've hooked up with DISH to bring you LIVE TV aboard your flight.

So next time you fly SWA.....your flight won't be so boring.....unless the shows are boring.

Or it's Honey boo boo, then they may as well pack some parachutes. Or not...G-E-R-O-N-I-M-O!!!

Is this to be individual televisions on the back of every seat like Jet Blue?

I think Bagiant is just shilling for SWA...after all, they advertise "Bags fly free"

In July it was free live tv and some on demand tv shows. I used my iPad and t worked great. No tv's in the seats. You could also buy movies for $5.

Southwest Airlines is letting passengers watch TV for free on their personal devices when they fly on the carrier's Wi-Fi enabled planes.

As part of the "TV Flies Free" offer, which kicked off Monday, satellite TV provider Dish network will offer customers 14 live TV channels and up to 75 on-demand shows on the airline's more than 425 Wi-Fi equipped planes, about 75% of its fleet. Previously, the service cost $5.

Passengers will be able to stream the content on their iPhones, iPads, iPod touches and most other Internet-ready personal devices.

And laptops too! Anyone seen mine?

They should show Airport 77 or Snakes on a plane while you fly.
