The poll asks if you are still comfortable walking the strip.

Here are my feelings:

I still feel safe walking the strip day or night up to around the Encore. Thereafter when you start to get in neighborhood near the Stratosphere, I would not feel safe at night.

If you only go a block over to Koval, there are places I would not want to walk at night.

Panhandlers have drastically increased on the strip. In matter of fact it seems like the porn slappers have decreased. I don't feel threatened by panhandlers but enough is enough and they become a big nuisance.

I think it is in the hotel's and Clark County's best interest to have uniformed officers walking on the strip. If people ever start to feel unsafe, it may be hard to undo the image and can affect business drastically.

Most of the deadly violence takes place on the strip. Gang members and general thugs like to hang out in the heart of strip.

I am assuming they mean at night?
I don't feel as safe walking the Strip at night as I used to, but I will still do it.
I LOVE how Harris, The Quad and Flamingo all kind of run into each other now.
Makes it easier to nip from place to place.

You cant go more than 2 minutes anywhere on the strip without a cop driving by. Crime happens everywhere but the strip is about as well monitored as any street in the US.

I've always felt safe walking the strip and have never worried about my wife walking the strip either. I suppose there would be a couple stretches I might worry if she were walking it alone at night sometimes.
