New Sports Book at the Cal

I just saw some photos of the new Sports Book at the California. It looks great. Has anyone been there yet? I was wondering if it looks that nice in person and also where did they locate it on the casino floor. My guess is near the Keno Area but not really sure. Will be there in November and want to check it out. I wonder what will happen to the old Sports Book area upstairs on the second level.

i hope they change their drink ticket policy. at the Fremont you get a free drink for $20 bet. at the Cal, you get nothing.

Dobot the new sports book is located on the street level where the megabucks machines used to be located. The megabucks machines are now where the shuttered snack bar was located. I miss that snack bar BTW.

I walked thru the Cal last month, so far I like what I see.

Thanks for the update. I never thought of that location. Is the old Sports Book boarded up? Or has the second floor casino area expanded?

I keep forgetting. I saw the photos of the new "Book" on Vital Vegas's site.

I walked through the 2nd floor of the Cal today. The old sportsbook is shut down. Haven't heard what they will do with that space.
