New use for Terrible's coupon

The post was not intended to brag about coupon abuse. I would never do that. My local casino is only honoring this promotion 1 time so it is not possible to bring in another one nor would I try. Just wanted to share my good fortune. BTW I didn't win anything on it but had some great free entertainment!

When you made the first post, you said you were going to use the coupon on your next trip. You didn't say if that next trip was to the local casino or to Vegas (this is where people went spazzoid on me). BTW, I think the Terrible's coupon is only good for 30 days from the time you print it so I hope you are going before then.

Just to let everyone know, I use the hell out of any and all coupons I can get my hands on.

Ummm.....

Would that statement mean that if possible, you would use a coupon that you may have used earlier because you got your hands on it?

Isn't that also "coupon abuse" if the T&C said something like one per year?

If it says once per day/month/year that's all I use it. I know how to read, thank you very much.

Buff, I think you misspoke. you wrote: " BTW I didn't win anything on it but had some great free entertainment!"

I bet you DID win something on it, but just put the money back in. There is a strategy for using free play -- you play and cash out your winnings without putting them back in.

I once got a $100 free play from when MGM owned Buffalo Bills at Primm. Played the $100 through on a VP machine, took each win, and left the casino with $135 (got a few winners).

The freeplay at my local casino works different than everywhere else on the planet. They give you a $100 free play card and you only get to keep anything over the 100. If it were $100 free play in Vegas then yes I would have been able to cash it out but since it is Turning Stone in NY and I never got ahead I didn't win anything.

Well, that is a sure fire casino gimmick for "free slot play" I do not recall every seeing anywhere else, and I've visited more than 150 different casino's within the contiguous good 'ole USA. "Offers" like that are what give casino's a bad name. (IMHO)

IF you had jumped off a winner, would you have been able to cash "profit" and continued to play the original $100?

I'm not certain, but if the answer is "NO" it would have been forfeited, than I do believe that the best method to use that "FSP" would be to find the highest denomination machine and use it there. Than, take almost "any" win if it puts you over $100. :::shrug:::

Trying to grind it on something smaller would seem to me to be a major uphill battle against what I am guessing are very tight machines to begin with, and would almost require a mid to large hit to make any profit. Yet, I "might" look for something like TDB Dream Card or STP and hope for the 4 OAK big bonus payouts, if they have the game.

I also hope you had a chat with someone from marketing to let them know that their gimmick offer of matching other casino offers is not exactly truthful and could do more to hurt than help gain new customers. (At least from my perspective.)

I know without a doubt that if I went there because of that promo, with another casino's offer to me, got that type of special gimmick FSP, I would probably play it on a high denomination machine, than walk my unhappy ass out the door to never return again.

Actually, if I knew the terms and conditions ahead of time, I most likely would not make a trip longer than a couple minutes to use it. That is a good example of why I usually telephone and confirm "offers" so I can get a better understanding of exactly what it is.

Hope you had fun anyway.

Buff, what you wrote reminds me of various online casino promotions you get in the mail. they send you several hundred dollars but you cant cash out any win until you put through 10-thousand of coin in. chances are very very slim. but it has happened.
