New Yrs trip report

Greetings...7th time I've spent New Yrs in Vegas.. 2nd at The Mirage..Flew Southwest out of St.Louis on the 30th. 45 min delay in taking off.. said we were waiting for 2 passengers who boarded quickly from another flight then pilot said we had 500 gallon gas discerpancy in fuel ticket..Finally take off at 12:20 pm and arrive in Vegas only 7 min. late..Later learn Southwest is doing this now taking off late because they now they will make it up.. Took executive shuttle to The Mirage..this took some time as female driver kept going back inside Mc Carran fo unknown reason..took about 35 min but finally under way..Mirage was third stop and check in was quick..Assinged to room 21126 in West Wing..Last room on the right..Long walk too room..Had view of Trump tower, TI and the mountains..Was very cold and windy Thur. just cold on Fri..Ate at BLT burger Thur.pm and then at Gilleys's Thur. nite..Old Gilleys was better..Service was bad steak was worse and doubt I go back..New Yrs eve morning at at Hash a GoGo was good..walked to ballys and paris to jump on internet..Realize now Flamingo has kiosik I could have used..Went to Bills to see Big Elvis around 4:15pm He was great..Had dinner at Joe's Steak and seafood at forum shops at Caeasar's Palace..Was great.. Had Ribeye, baked potato and salad and 2 Jack N Cokes..$67 total will go back...Back to Bills to see Elvis do Blue Hawaii and then over to Mirage..Sat in Sports book and sobered up then went out at 11:15 to watch fireworks..Great show..stood at end on Mirgae driveway as strip was crowed worst I've ever seen it..New Yrs day took taxi to 4 Queens to eat at magnolias..Nobody downtown..Spent rest of day watching bowl games..Dinner at Trevi in Forum shops love their lasagna..In bed early that nite..Sun eat breakfast at Tropical Breeze then back to Mirage for pro games..Sun. nite had 6 hrs of "adult time" with very nice lady I know...Ate at BB Kings and all was good..Flight home took off 45 min late and landed in St.louis 20 min late..Got bag and drove home..Biggest win of trip was $54 dollars..Had fun..Just was very cold..Mirage is nice place walked to Cosmo on Sat..very nice also.. Will be back for New Yrs 2012 ..

nobody wants to read a trip report

First I caught of it. Readability would easier if in several paragraphs instead of one long one. Thought it would be warmer during that time of year.

Thanks for posting . I wish i could put together a TR. You have to break it up a little. I started to read it and my eyes started to run along .
I did laugh at the "6 hours of adult time" . I don't need details but are you under 50. LOL

BLT burger is great! This is ALWAYS a stop on my trip, its expensive but they make one tasty burger! How much was the resort fee at the Mirage?

Resort fee was $15 a day..
