New Yrs Trip report

Was dealing with lots of things..Turning 55 and sadly father passing away X-Mas morning..Left on Sat the 29 on Southwest out of ST. Louis..Nice flight out landed about 5 min late..Cab to The Mirage..Breakfast at Treasure Island..Check in at The Mirage room on 22 floor.View was of mountains...Had "adult fun" that nite..Sun. Breakfast at Hash House a Go Go at The Linq..Sun. nite Eagles at MGM WOW what a show..Mon. New Yrs Eve breakfast at Peppermill..2 full Ham steaks and eggs..Was filled up..Drank at Kokomo's most of day..Dinner at Joe's Steak and Prime seafood at Caesar's..New years day. breakfast at Flamingo.Bowl games lunch at Trevi..Wed. ate Carniege deli at Mirage..Never again..Dinner that nite at Prime.."adult fun" was awesome..Did little gambling..Had a good time sadly though caught flu on way home..Hope to to return in2013 but doubt it..

I've been reading a lot of poor reviews of Carnegie Deli lately. Haven't been there in about 5 years but we always liked it.

Very sorry about dad. Lost grandfather Christmas eve. Tough. Sounds like good trip. Hope you make it back this year.

Nice report kpwcchs! I also ate at the Carniege deli at Mirage a couple of weeks ago and didn't enjoy my pastrami at all! It was piles of meat but it was soooo dry! Sorry to hear about your dad around the holidays! Hope everything works out for you in 2013 bud!

Sorry to har about the loss of your father but I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Vegas!

Sorry about all the bad things, at least you were able to get away and let the time pass.

After my wife died I went to Vegas for Christmas to let it just past by me... was still hell but better to get away than sit at home, etc.
