Newbie!

I'm meeting some friends in Vegas for the first time this weekend. Besides the usual "must dos" I'm hoping to find some place (other than a museum!) that has mechanical slots... is there any place around still like that, without computer screens? Thanks!
Downtown at the D. Upstairs is the Old style slots and games.
You can still find plenty of $1 slots without the video screens. Most bigger casinos have plenty of them. If you want smaller denominations the search becomes much harder.

4-Queens used to have some 5 cent wheels in a bank with a progressive...sometimes they use a car as the jackpot. Not sure if those are still there or not.

I would suggest searching some of the off-strip dives that have older inventory - like Poker Palace or Skyline Casino. I want to say Mermaids (downtown) has got some too - I know some of their machines dont have TITO yet, anyway.
PJ and Cowboy have always sent me in the "right" direction. I believe their advice to be outstanding.

Might also try LaBayou. Last time I was there (April), they had some reel slots.
El Cortez should have a few floating around.
