Newly released Clinton emails shed light on relationship between State Dept. and Clinton Foundation

It sure seems there was a cozy relationship between the CF and the State dept. when the hill was in. Of course I know this is how it works, but the hill got caught with her hand in the cookie jar so to speak.Handing out a low or mid level job isn't any big deal at all but it's a major deal 'cause it's between her charity {cough,ack, choke} and the State dept. and not any low level clerking job, that's a big no-no.

.."n one instance, top Clinton Foundation official Doug Band lobbied Clinton aides for a job for someone else in the State Department. In the email, Band tells Hillary Clinton's former aides at the department -- Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin -- that it is "important to take care of (redacted)." Band is reassured by Abedin that "Personnel has been sending him options."

"n a 2009 email, Band directs Abedin and Mills to put Gilbert Chagoury, a Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire and Clinton Foundation donor, in contact with the State Department's "substance person" on Lebanon.
"We need Gilbert Chagoury to speak to the substance person re Lebanon," Band wrote. "As you know, he's a key guy there and to us and is loved in Lebanon. Very imp."
"It's jeff feltman," Abedin responded, referring to Jeffrey Feltman, who was the US ambassador to Lebanon at the time. "I'm sure he knows him. I'll talk to jeff."
"No wonder Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin hid emails from the American people, the courts and Congress," he said in a press release. "They show the Clinton Foundation, Clinton donors, and operatives worked with Hillary Clinton in potential violation of the law."

I'm stunned, I tell you, stunned. To think that a Presidential candidate would be involved with pay to play.....stunning. Right up until you realize that you are dealing with a Chicago Democrat. THEN it all makes perfect sense. Elections give people what they deserve, and this election will be no different. I just really hope that as a country we don't deserve Liarry.

Fritzy i won't mention the 'other guy' by name but i'll tell you this, our country has basically decided that an otherwise honest person who's not even 1/100th as corrupt as the 'candidate b' is not going to get millions of people's votes because....wait for it....

PJ, as usual overlooks a few minor details.....like the millions of dollars that were exchanged. If no one cares about her emails, how come she wants them hidden? Oh, I'm sorry, she turned them all over....except, no she didn't. One of a litany of lies that PJ and others don't mind overlooking.

She's one very lucky person (I carefully avoided the word lady) to have someone like Obama watching her back. The FBI would have eaten her for lunch without support from above......one Chicago Democrat covering for another Chicago Democrat.

And Fritz seems to be under the right-wing propaganda perspective that the Clinton Foundation is actually a money laundering scheme for Hillary's personal banking accounts. And you'll find as much evidence for that as you will for Obama's African birth certificate. Or you can ask jphelan how the foundation only gives 10% of their money to the cause (he'll back it up with some Enron accounting done by The Federalist).


Donations made to the Clinton Foundation do things like - bring clean drinking water to third world countries, protect battered women, fight malaria, and bring humanitarian aid to natural disasters. If you're looking for statesmen to build diplomatic relations with embattled countries perhaps its not so scandalous to choose someone that has an existing humanitarian relationship with that region already.

But prove me wrong - show me how donations made to the Clinton's non-profit charity actually get funneled into the Clinton vacation home in Tahiti. And if you cant - perhaps you might admit you're desperately looking for the next Bengazhi.

He is actually a financial supporter of a nigerian dictator who is wanted in Nigreria & has paid $300m to stay out of jail there
