NFC Championship Giants vs 49ers

As a patriots fan I want the giants to win so we can have our revenge. They ruined our perfect season and beat us in the super all in one game. They 49ers played well this season and especially last week. Im looking forward to a good game.
As a Giants fan for over 25 years, it's hard not to get excited over the G-Men performance as of late. Truthfully, I never expected them to get past the Falcons - the defense is obviously playing very well. That said, I really admire the type of football Harbaugh has brought to the 49ers. For the NFL, it is a very fundamentally sound gameplan on both sides of the ball. I believe it was last week when the call was a fake up the middle with Smith on a QB sweep to the left. Excellent call, excution was excellent and resulted in a TD. For Harbaugh to go from Stanford to San Fran and in his first year be able to turn that team around speaks volumes.

Hopefully it is a very good game.

GO GIANTS!!!

He probably thought the san francisco giants are a football team

I think the Giants will beat the 49ers on Sunday. It seems that whenever a team beats the Giants, and the Giants play them again that season, they come away winners. The last game in 2007, the Patriots beat the Giants and then lost to them in the Super Bowl. This year they lost to the Packers, and then came back and beat them in the playoffs. I week 9, the Giants lost to the 49ers and now play them again. Hopefully the trend will continue. Only problem is, they beat the Patriots in week 10, so if they play them in the SB....??????? However, they just may play the Ravens, who beat them in the SB in 2000.

I'm actually taking both dogs in the championship games, and looking for a repeat Ravens/Giants SB. I don't think that Alex Smith will have the same type of game that he had last week, and the Giants aren't going to turn the ball over 5 times.

The Ravens have won road playoff games in four different road stadiums. Here's a great stat. Since Harbaugh started coaching the Ravens, if they were getting 7.5 points in those games, they'd be 63-8 ATS. Now, in most of those games, they were a favorite. But basically, they take care of the ball and let the other team make the mistakes. Ravens should be able to pressure Brady and when he's under pressure is when he makes mistakes. He has his worst games against teams that have good defenses. Won't be surprised to see upsets in both games.
PATRIOTS 41 / RAVENS 20

LOL.... Too funny and probably true!
The reason they call the New York Football Giants by that name is because when they were both located in NYC, that was the only way they could distinguish between the two teams. And at that point in time....believe it or not...the NY Football Giants ALSO played in the Polo Grounds where the baseball Giants also played.

I thought they call them by that name because that's their name. Silly me.

Edge to NY on Sunday, based on big game experience. Pick them to win.
49ers just couldn't hold on to the ball on the returns and it cost them the game....
