NFL - 2014, The Year of the Eagles

Sounds like a great Thanksgiving trip. Maybe head over to Vegas for remainder of the weekend.

This explanation would not be complete without DonDiego pointing out one factual error committed by Chilcoot. No team "plays [in Cowboys Stadium] every week, except when the Niners come calling." It would be unfair for any team to play in one stadium every week. And it would be rude for that team not to play there when the Niners come to play.
You don't follow.

Every time the Cowboys play at AT&T Stadium (there is no "Cowboys Stadium" in the NFL), I get to enjoy watching my second favorite team, the only exception being when the Niners have the field.

Where the Cowboys play their home games is Cowboys Stadium, yes technically not right but good enough for me.
And I bet if I was in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and hailed a cab and said to the driver "take me to Cowboys Stadium" I'm sure I would be dropped off at AT&T Stadium everytime. If I said "take me to AT&T Stadium" there's a chance I could be taken to a mall kiosk who sells cell phone plans.

And Chilcoot you're not following your own guidelines in your replies.
By your definitions there's no Niners in the NFL. The closest team name is the San Francisco 49ers. Just sayin'.

Edited: I wish DD's Eagles well as long as it doesn't interfere/mess up/foil anything with the New York Giants.
Hey, I didn't start the niggling in this thread.

But I'm happy to not end it.
If one wishes to find out what Pre-Season NFL games are gonna be on the NFL Network and one's local stations, . . . here's where to go online: 506sports.com

Oh, and during the Season this site also posts which games will be carried nationally by CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN, and the NFL network as well as which games will be shown on one's local CBS and Fox associate, . . . so's the reader can know if he'll see a good game at home, or hafta go to the sports bar to see one. DonDiego supposes this will usually apply to residents in the Greater Metropolitan Areas of Cleveland, Dallas, Minneapolis, Nashville, and Oakland.

Yes, I use that site each year. Look for the listings to be updated Wednesday mornings.
The Colts need to prove they can build a team without Bill Pollian. I'm not optimistic. Getting rid of Pollian was a far worse decision than getting rid of Peyton Manning. Their latest off-season consisted of re-signing veterans and bringing on a bunch of no-names. They can still win the division but that's probably about it.
Nah, Andrew Luck is an exceptional talent they couldn’t pass on. Indy just didn't have any talent to surround Peyton with in his declining years which was plain to see the year he got hurt and how awful the team was without him. The only big mistake the new management made was the Trent Richardson trade. As far as I am concerned letting go of Peyton was a win for the Colts and a win for him because he got to go somewhere that had better surrounding talent and the Colts got to reload with younger talent.

Agreed...which is why I say getting rid of Pollian was far worse. They did nothing last offseason....and they've done nothing this offseason. Im not sure what kind of team they are trying to build. Right now it seems like they dont have a clue
Sir DonDiego, let me know if you and Teechur will be available for dinner or drinks when you make your trip here in a few weeks!
