NFL admits to a second error that cost the Lions vs Dallas

I really do not see the point of the NFL doing this.

Make Lion fans pissed?

Prevent Cowboy fans from enjoying any part of this win?

It makes no sense to me?

Second blown call

Priceless.

Especially this when we've seen so many ticky-tack DPI calls.
The NFL admitting the obvious - now what do you nay sayers have to say?

It's a good thing that although Dallas "won", Dallas did not cover the spread. If they had covered, . . . it's likely somebody would've been rubbed out by now.
I do feel sorry for the Detriot fans, players and personell.

The only bright side (if there is a bright side) will be watching the Cowboys lose to Green Bay on Sunday.

Rick
I too await the Cowboys/ Packers game. If officiated correctly Green Bay should rout the Cowboys. But I have my suspicions for apparently Jerry Jones has bought off the refs - don't be surprised if the refs make some more, shall we say, "dubious" calls.
Post-game public confession is stupid. Can't help anything.
Ref/ump calls are missed all the time. Some cost you, some help you.

Like the bonehead play made at the blackjack table.
Some cost you a winning hand, some give you one.
Nothing you can do about it.

IMHO.
Finally a sensible statement.

At least the refs got the big replay call right in today's Green Bay game. I'm sure no Cowboy fan would have wanted a second tainted victory.
