NFL Draft

How did your teams do? The Jets did not make any big name splashes; although with 12 picks there was speculation that they may move up. Acording to the experts they did well; filling some needed holes.

I work at Rock Ctr and people were lining up Wednesday to get in for Thursday night; some people need a life
There are so many top 10 busts and so many low draft picks and guys that never got drafted that the whole draft thing is a fiasco. It's worse than trying to predict the weather.

I read a report comparing the size of the hands of the leading QBs in the draft. When they can measure the size of a man's heart that will be beneficial. But his hands? C'mon man.

That report was commissioned by the owners wives

DonDiego's beloved Eagles made 9 picks in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The final pick, Round 7 - Pick 9, was 6 ft 2 in., 333 lbs Beau Allen, a Defensive Tackle out of Wisconsin. The Eagles website mentions that he played in all 54 games in his college career after being a finalist for Minnesota Mr. Football in high school.

DonDiego's copy of Harris Publications Pro Football Draft Guide 2014 describes him as: "An awesome two-gap run-stuffer. . . . A limited athlete who won't make an impact as a pass-rusher, he doesn't do much more than take up space."

He sorta sounds like a bumper on a bumper-pool table. That could be good.

Subsequent to the draft the National Football League Philadelphia Eagles Football Team signed 15 undrafted free-agents.

DonDiego looks forward to the 2014/2015 Season.

Oh, . . . here's some cheerleaders:

The cheerleaders remind me of the wallpaper in the men's room at the Hilton.
The Bills have a great receiver...and nobody to throw the ball to him. I guess we'll see how the new O-Line looks. Ultimately their draft will either get an "A" or an "F" based upon the team's ability to protect the QB ..and the QB's ability to not suck.
The Raiders were given an "A" (maybe the first time ever) for their draft picks. Maybe they can climb out of their mediocrity of the past 10+ years.
__ SuperBowl Odds - as of 12 May 2014 ___

Brady is slightly over the hill and they have started their decline. Save your money.
