NFL ends blackout rule for 2015 season

It is only to see how things go for 2015, but let's hope it becomes permanent.

Even if you have tickets to the cheap seats, a pro-football game isn't cheap. Add in parking, programs, and food and it can be a pretty expensive day.

Amen.About time they cut the fans a break.
I subscribe to DirecTv and also have Sunday Ticket.

My home is not within 75 miles of San Diego stadium, yet some of their games are blacked out because parts of L.A. County are within 75 miles.

Really? I have sunday tick also and I thought it was excluded from blackouts( sure as hell pay enough for it).

I used to go downtown for the Rams pre-game tail gate parties. I loved to smell the foodc ooking and listening to the bands. The also had a lot of giveaways and contests going too. I usually would hang around and would wait to see if I could snag a ticket for the game for $5 or $10 right after the game started. If I didn't, I'd just find a bar near the stadium and watch the game.
