I think you are right about the past. I think (however) the organization has made a positive turn and will not be the worst run organization over the next 5 years. I'm not banking on playoff appearances and divisional titles but I do think we have a few building blocks in place and the management is much better than it used to be. Matt Millen was no genius.

I'm sure you are aware that things change, sometimes quickly, and sometimes very slowly. The graduating University of Michigan class needs to beat Ohio State today or they will go out 0-4 against Michigan State and 0-4 against Ohio State which would be a first for the Wolverines. Before the new Millenium U of M used to be a power in football. No longer, it happens.

He needs to be suspended for the season. I'm sick of these so called role models and all their bling.

Did he hit someone with his jewelry? I did a google image search on Suh and could not find a single pic of him wearing a single piece of jewelry. I wonder why a nascar fan would assume otherwise?

Sarah9nascar should stop looking to professional athletes for her role models, that almost never works out.

The Lions are a fun team to watch, very entertaining. I hope Suh gets his act together, he could be a great player for a long time.

I hope your right about the Lions, but I've been a fan over 40 years and I'm tired of being constantly disappointed.Every year there is optimism only to be let down most of the time.I'm tired of the Lions talking about getting better.I'm want to see results. And more than one year.Lets see some consistancy over several years.
HE IS A GROWN @$$ MAN AND STILL HASN'T LEARNED SPORTSMANSHIP. Some people don't deserve to play in the NFL. Then he had the nerve to say he lost his balance?!?!? Get real. Bigger the fine/penalty the better.

I read that his degree is in "construction management", is that really engineering?

Sounds less impressive if you ask me, like the sort of degree someone that you wind up with if you wanted to be an engineer but couldn't quite hack it.

Not everywhere. I know at some colleges with very tough engineering programs this program as pretty close to the rest as far as difficulty. It just isn't as tough of a senior project.

P.S. Ndonkeykong Suh should still get a few games whether he was a dropout or had the bestest degree possible.
He is probably used to being the "biggest kid on the block" and always getting his own way. He's finding out the NFL playground is a little more level playing field. And he can't get his own way.
I never saw what he did til this morning. I think his lying and trying to squirm out of it and take responsibilty, you know, as in,"i screwed up,i'm sorry,it was the heat of the moment. Whatever punishment the league or my team deems necessary,i'll take it like a man", is as bad if not worse than the act itself.
What an asshole!

JOHN
Like Doug Dieken said this morning, "There's always trouble with a boy named Suh."
Just saw on ESPN that it looks like a two game suspension for him.
As much as everyone wants to make him out to be a "thug", he really is not.

Football is a very violent game. He needs to be dealt with properly by the NFL, 2 game suspension would seem about right. He is going to have to get control of his emotions soon or it will cost him dearly in "cheap shots" by other players and league suspensions.
He would have been far better off just stating "I am damn tired of being held 90% of the time"! You lost your composure so just admit it and move on.

Just glad too see the "victim" was not hurt this time.
