The NFL needs to throw the book at Ndamukong Suh

I just love the way some people make excuses for another persons behavior. I would like to hear their response if they had been stomped on by this overgrown bully.
Much ado over nothing, really. I have been watching football for many years and have seen so many other infractions that have seriously injured other players and caused real mayhem..... This "stomp" business is being blown way out of porportion to what physical damage the other player sustained....hardly a minor bruise....if that... Next we can expect the NFL bigwigs to have the players wear ballet slippers at game time instead of cleats.
I would love to see Sue in ballet slippers.Maybe that should be his punishment.
Suh stomped on another players arm during a game.

Joe Kapp punched a 74 year old man in the face. Of course Kapp is 73. All you people that freaked out because Suh is an animal that lacks sportsmanship, please.

Sportsmanship!

I thought this kind of behavior was reserved for young angry large men with bling.

Frankly, I don't mind being the most hated team in the NFL if that is what it comes to. Being the number 1 baddie can work for some teams, just ask the Philadelphia Flyers of 1974-1975.

But Suh did cross the line on this occasion.

Don't count us out of the playoffs just yet...

Dude, it's football, not kindergarten sand box. Suh is paid to smash QBs, and QBs are paid to avoid being smashed. This is a rules violation not too dissimilar to many, many others.

I've learned long ago to not justify bad behaviour by pointing out other bad behaviour.

One must take responsibility for their actions and until Sue does so, he is not sorry and needs to be punished by the league.

With or without him, the Lions are home in the Paradise called Detroit after 1/1/2012. Maybe that is punishment enough.

mrmarcus12LVA - Well Dude, I believe that Suh has been playing football for many, many years and he knows that when a play has ended the action stops. After getting pancaked, Suh jammed the lineman's head into the turf repeatedly and then stomped him. Suh is an Albert Haynesworth clone who needs a serious wake up call. This is not the first time this season he has overstepped the bounds and broke the rules of football. You, like so many others in this world, seem to have a hard time grasping the difference between right and wrong. Suh was wrong and nothing you say will make his actions right, rules violation or not.
Its official......2 game suspension which is what ESPN was reporting.......I think ESPN runs the NFL.

I am official winner of this thread since I predicted 2 games long before any media outlet released speculations. What do I win? (please don't reply with a free breakfast with Bagiant).
