NFR. Rodeo questions!

I notice NFR 2014 events on Fri., Dec. 12, and Sat., Dec. 13 start at 6:45 pm.  Any clue what time the rodeo wraps up on finals nights?

How easy/difficult is it to get a taxi after the rodeo?  And, where are the cab stands at the Thomas and Mack?

I've been too the Rodeo many times but not sure when it ends on these nights. It's usually around 3 hours? I have always driven myself. They have taxi's in front of Thomas and Mack, I have always seen many taxis lined up after the rodeo, with long lines of people. I would suggest taking one of the free shuttles. Since they don't have as much parking as they use too they started having shuttles to most the hotels. These are nice buses. You can get that information at nfrexperience.com. The problem after the rodeo is the traffic. I would not take a taxi because of the traffic jam after. It took my friends over an hour to go from Thomas and Mack to MGM. I thought they went too eat or something? NO they were just stuck in traffic. It has gotten so much harder to go than it use too. I usually just watch it on TV at one the the hotels!

Oh, I just had another thought! If you go early too the rodeo they have entertainment and sponser booths set up outside of Thomas and Mack. I have not gone too this, my friends like to arrive late and leave early too beat the traffic? So, I'm starting to feel like "why go with them if you are going to miss half the fun". Also, the weather can be nice or very cold in December I've seen it snow to people wearing shorts, so I would not want to stand in a Taxi line. Have Fun!
